Bringing the Bible to the heart and home....
The Homebuilders class titled “The Seven Handfuls of Purpose”, was originally designed to minister to home education families, and is a fast paced, dynamic, seven-week course to strengthen the family by teaching the principles of an individual’s walk with God, with each other, with the community and with the Church. The premise of the class is that God created an order for three great institutions the home, the government, and the church, in which He would lead His people to a closer walk with Himself and have harmony with one another. Since 1997 over 2,300 people have attended the Homebuilder series of classes, taught by Pastor Napier, at Berea Baptist Church.
After registration, enrollees receive a Bible, Homebuilder Workbook and Study Helps. Classes are once a week for seven weeks, with each nightly class lasting approximately two and one half hours. To successful receive credit for the class, the enrollee must attend at least six of the seven classes and have achieved a composite average score of 70% or higher on the seven homework lessons.
